That's life blog

Today I was all tied up with loads of work at office. I took sometime to refresh myself. I started browsing blogs and I landed in My General Blogs. The caption of the blog is That's life. The author writes about General things but mostly concentrating in computer technology. The very first post is about starting your education in fashion industry. I am always a fashion fanatic. Love to try new stuffs. I would not mind taking up a fashion course. The author writes few articles every month but ensures that they are on various categories ranging from fashion to personal loans.

There is another interesting post that I came across and the topic is “Why Blogging?” where the author has mentioned the importance of technology development and advancement and how it has defeated other paper media like news paper and magazine. I certainly agree to this fact. Nowadays you can voice your opinion in your blog or website rather than wait for them to get published in the newspaper or other print media. It is a good post to ponder.

Well its good that u get time out of busy schedules. But the reason I blog is unlike the author u have mentioned just for two reasons:
1. I am bad at keeping an managing things. So a blog is my online safety vault. A safe storage of my writing I can retrieve any where any time.
2. I can reread my own thoughts anytime and anywhere as per my wish. As it feels me with nostalgia and I keep track of my thought process overtime.
---------------------
And about making it a medium of voicing opinion, I feel thats good but what is the need? Everyone has multiple opinion for a single topic.
But what I feel is mostly blog is now increasingly becoming a "commodity" to have and flaunt. At a gathering to say hey I too blog. Its like making a fashion statement and a degree to have for educated tech savvy mass.
But it defeats its own purpose however nevertheless one is free to do and think what he/she wants.

Hey Abi, listen: when I said voicing your opinion, it could be anything. For example, I write about anything that I feel has an impact in me or i like or dislike about it. Thats what I meant by voicing my opinion. Also I cannot keep doing it whenever I feel like, in other media. So blogging is the best.

I quite do not believe in flaunting aspect that you had mentioned. Its for personal content and happiness people write. Whether one notices it or not, writing will go on.

Your first two points are just right. My reason for writing include those two as well.

I think blogs are good medium for voicing opinion, though its not that effective.
Everyone has multiple opinion for a single topic. So, people can come, read and express their opinion, they can debate.

I wont disagree completely that Blogs have become a "fashion statement and a degree to have for educated tech savvy mass" . But still, there are people who blog sincerely. There are thousands of meaningful blogs which are of great use. Blogs covering topics from household things to Education, from finance to fashion...they help a lot.

I blog becuase I find it a good place to put my opinion and ideas. Blogs are the way to express my thoughts and sharing it with my friends.

Everything has its own pros and cons. And its all on the perception.

Mudit, I second your opinion. I too blog for similar reasons only. After all, it is our freedom to do things that we want to do.

Hey people in there, chill. Point 1. I never said u guys blog to flaunt it I said most of the guys.
point 2. I asked expressing opinion to whom?
point 3. I never said Blogging is bad or so. I am a blogger. I said the philosophy of blogging is increasingly becoming self defeating.
And as the guy u have mentioned rattler in the post says its a medium defeating the print media. I agree for the reason that the number of publication significantly outnumber the print media. But the authenticity still lies in that and not in blog. And the authenticity and integrity of data is what provides the value to it.

mate, we are already chilling in here.. don't over think and stress yourself :)

With regards to authenticity, even the print media can give only to a certain extent. Its the visual media that always provides proof. As for blogging, first of all why do you need to look at authenticity? Even if its a hypothetical situation thats being handled in blog, you can always voice out your opinion. I was trying to say only this.

@Abinash: "Point 1. I never said u guys blog to flaunt it I said most of the guys."

Its ok. We are not taking anything personally here. You are free to express yourself. All of us have 'Freedom of Speech'.
I do agree that people sometimes blog to flaunt. However, I have never come across any such case. But still I support you.

@Abinash: "Point 2: I asked expressing opinion to whom? "

Expressing opinion to your mates, friends and other people. Whenever I feel something or have an opinion about an issue, I will just jot it down. Then ,people can comment on that. We discuss and come out with new aspects on that topics. This is called 'Knowledge Sharing'

I will repeat what I said.
There are people who blog sincerely. There are thousands of meaningful blogs which are of great use. Blogs covering topics from household things to Education, from finance to fashion...they help a lot.
