Jack Russell Terrier

I saw a tv clip on animal planet this morning about Jack Russell Terrier. I was amused and wanted to immediately blog it. If you are unable to recollect or visualize how this terrier will look like then think of the movie "The Mask". Jim Carry's pet "Milo" in the movie is a Jack Russell Terrier. Its a sturdy, tough and hyper active high energy terrier on toes all the time.

The Jack Russell Terrier is a perky, merry, devoted, and loving dog. Spirited and obedient, yet absolutely fearless. Careful and amusing, he enjoys games and playing with toys. Friendly and generally kind to children who have been taught not to tease or strike the dog. They are intelligent, yet willful and determined. They can be slightly difficult to train and need a firm, experienced trainer. The Jack Russell can be aggressive with other dogs if not well trained and socialized.

These dogs are easy to have in a small apartment too unlike the other big dogs. For example, I have a labrador retriever and he is 5.5 yrs old now. I am finding it difficult to have in him my apartment as I feel he needs more space to move around. To compensate on this he is being taken for walking atleast 3 times a day. So Jack Russell Terrier would be the best bet for having in apartments. I am it will be a treat for the dog lovers that live in apartments.

Macky boy has turned five couple of months back.. just felt like posting some of his cool pics in here.. As am currently far away from him and its almost an year since I saw him, all I could do is put on his pics and keep thinking of him..

Love you mac.. and you know that I cannot quantify my love for you.. you are my younger brother.. Hugs to you .. muuaaahhh..

I love Dogs...

Dog - The most faithful animal in the world. I have a chocolate labrador - Mac.. Should I call him my younger brother? Why not?

Such an adorable loveable dosile cute little damsel he is.. he his 4.5 yrs old.. He was gifted to me for my birthday on June 4th 2002. My family gifted him to me well in advance. He came to my home on 22nd May 2002 if i remember correctly :) .. Now he's grown up..

But his characteristics are just the same.. he loves kids :) and plays around with them. He loves my mom the most.. then my dad and then my bro and me.. simple cos mom gives him food and dad bathes him every fortnight and brushes his hair daily... mom takes him for a walk in the afternoon and dad takes him for walk in the evening, I used to take him for walk in the mornings and my bro at night...

He sleeps with my dad daily.. At times with me in my bed :) .. He loves potatoes, tomatoes and all raw vegetables.. He eats pappu mumum mixed with ghee and boiled egg... :) and pedigree..

Am really at loss of words.. really not able to explain more about this angel.. he is such a sweetie pie.. Am sure only dog lovers can understand my feelings..

Its really really nice to have pets and especially dogs.. no matter what, they will come with you till the very end of life - either ours or his..
