Our Vacation to Goa

Dear readers,
We had been to Goa for a vacation. It was for for a week. The places we visited were
Day 1 - Bom Basilica church, Fort Aguada, Sikkerim Vivanta fort, Fort Chapora, Dolphin Cruise
You can read about the places in details in internet. Needless to mention that it will be great to carry a camera. DSLR is a must for folks passionate about photography. Dolphin cruise was awesome. We went on a small boat to mid of the sea and saw Dolphins jumping around. This is available only till 5pm in the evening. As it gets dark, Dolphins would not show themselves.
Day 2 - Kesaraval falls, Big foot, shantadurga temple, Mangeshi temple, Shopping at Panjim, Mira Mar Beach
The temples are several 100 years old and worth the visit. Big foot is all about Portugese way of living when they conquered Goa and covers pre independence era of Goa
Day 3 - Dona Paula, Forest garden, Calangunte Beach, Baga Beach, River Cruise
Lots of water sports available in all the beaches. You can choose whichever you like.
Day 4 -Japanese garden, Iron ore discharging point, Naval museum, Bogmolo Beach, Mazorda Beach area spa, Colvo Beach
Photography point is this Japanese garden. Really cool location. Goa is all about Iron ore shipping, so do not miss this.
Day 5 - Forest garden (yes again), Panjim for Shopping
We wanted our day 5 to be relaxed as we went as a family with 2 children. one is 4 years old and the other is about 1 year. So we needed this rest :)
We stayed at our friend's place 'Vasco' named after Vasco De Gama. This is literally 5 mins drive from Airport but yes about 15 kms away from the city. I did not see any difficulty driving down everyone to the other side. Goans are very good with driving sense. It was absolutely a pleasure to be on their roads.
Post any questions you have if you are planning for a vacation. I can try to answer them up :)
