Connectivity options- Blue tooth, infrared, 3G, USB
Quadband - The older versions of nokia used to be triband and this one has an amazing Quadband
Weight w/battery - 116 g
Battery type(s) supported - Rechargeable 1100mAh battery
Max. talktime (in hours) - 3.7 hours
Max. standby time (in hours) - 370 hours
The screen - The same stunning 262k colour 240 x 320 pixel unit which is chosen for its clarity as part of the standard N73 camera phone model, here it has all those features plus makes for a great interface for the media player functions
Keypad interface - Below the screen sits the now standard Nokia button set-up for a candybar design, there 2 soft buttons provide quick access to a variety of menu options and there is a surprisingly shallow navigation joystick which is more fiddly than normal. In addition to the normal tightly packed keypad there are also 4 dedicated function buttons, the menu and text settings keys are to the left and to the right lie the media player key and cancel button. This media player button is essential to this model and gives you rapid access to the multimedia functions, however there is no difference between this and the standard N73 where the button is also present.
Having said all these, I found few features hindering the usage of this mobile and certain functionalities of the phone not working after sometime of usage.
The keypad interface is so difficult to operate when we want to type messages. Also, suddenly the call dialling (green phone) button does not seem to work when directly operated to call the dialled numbers. In this case the phone has to be restarted again. The latter flaw could be specific to the phone that I am using or may not be. If such minor issues are fixed am sure the phone will rock more than what it is now.
My rating for the Nokia N73 music edition is 8.5/10
