Suppose, you are a sales executive and need a printout of your sales pitch before walking into a sales call.You need a mobile (portable) printer for these and other such situations.
The printers, though, don't come cheap (relative to their printing speed and output capability). And you should be ready to haul around an extra 2-3 kg or so of printer, accessories, power cords and batteries.
Having said that, HP's new Officejet H470 mobile printer makes quite a splash. The quality, though, could have been better. It offers a choice of printing photos with four ink colours or replacing the black cartridge with a photo cartridge to print with six colors. Photos printed on the H470 are close to photo quality, but are not water resistant.
