Back from three day vacation
I am finally back from a three day vacation out of which 2 days went on only travel :) So it was very strenuous. I went to Thanjavur in TamilNadu. The roads were pathetic most of the time. There were heavy rains that had made this and that is not the only reason. The corrupted politicians and the contractor that had taken this work of laying roads have played a major role. They have swallowed a huge amount and have laid roads that are of zero quality. I drove from Bangalore to Thanjavur. It took 10 hrs each way and the other result is a terrible back pain due to the poor road condition.

Wow that was really cool. You were driving so much!! So how was the place? U can put a couple of snaps if u have taken.
me and my hubby drove by sharing.. No ways can we continuously do as we are not professional drivers.. hehe.. I forgot to take my camera but clicked the temples in my mobile. will post it soon.
Pathetic road conditions definitely spoils the mood of driving.
But its good that you have taken time off from your busy schedule to be with your family and had an outing.
oh yeah the roads were horrible. Yes I really managed to get it done this time. It was a long pending trip. Mudit, I will be visiting Thanjavur again in August :)
I think August will be gud time to visit . Weather will be pleasant. But cant say about roads.
This time i will only go by train or have a driver to drive. No way will I do the same mistake again :)
