I read a love poem

During my lunch break, I happened to browse other blogs. I came across a site that has an unusual URL name Bittersweet Collide, It All Started with Goodbye, Bittersweet. This site is all about poems. The author has poured out his emotions in the form of words in fact more than just words. I read one such poem "it all started with goodbye". I thoroughly enjoyed reading the poem especially the lines below.

"You got me at our first major goodbye
when you said you have to stay away
because you felt that it was wrong
that you were falling deeper in love with me
each passing day"

I am feeling quite emotional after reading it and I can put myself in the author's shoes. I also liked this line very much ““I’m letting you walk away, but deep in my heart I’m holding on and never letting go”. Well, love is all about being unconditional. You can bid good bye to a person but not to love as it stays afresh in memories all through your life.
