Petrol and Diesel prices to be hiked up from next week

This is going nowhere and getting insane. Petrol prices will be hiked up by Rs.2 and diesel prices to be hiked up by Re.1 from next week in India. To my knowledge, US is the only country that is still able to maintain the Petrol prices at a nominal dollar price and that other countries keep hiking up every 6 months or so. Hmmm..
