How to get Higher page rank?

When I think of this topic, the first thing that comes to my mind is writing quality contents. Now what do we mean by quality content? According to me, writing quality content means writing unique contents so that people come in to visit your website for that. Why would anyone visit our website? They will need something worth to know from your site. Examples, could be you can give some free downloads in your site or give some useful contents which will be of great help to the visitor. These will enable to get High Page rank and you can see improved quality of your site too. I wrote a content that translates the spices glossary in various Indian languages. That was not an easy one. I took several days to compile that list and it was very challenging. What is the net result? My page rank got increased to 1 for this page as several unique visitors arrive at this page daily. Hard work has thus been paid off. So for you to increase your page rank concentrate more on the contents than the number of contents. This is my personal experience.
